This series of photographs connects the micro and the macro. From the smallest to the immensity of the universe there is only dimension. Everything is connected.
Some of these photographs have been taken from a digital microscope and the cultivation of bacteria from the remains of my own body in Petri dishes. The pictures of the universe are photos taken by different space telescopes such as Keppler, Hubble, James Webb, or NASA’s Rosette Nebula, of distant supernovae, stars, and planets.

Amaia Vicente ist eine Künstlerin aus dem Baskenland (Spanien), die sich seit Jahren mit Themen an der Schnittstelle von Feminismus, Grenzen, Technologie und Körpern bewegt. Diesmal präsentiert sie ihre neue Arbeit in Berlin: Neurography, the human machine symbiosis.
Die Performance basiert auf der Verwendung eines Muse-Geräts, das die elektrische Sprache des Gehirns lesen kann und mit dem eine audiovisuelle Installation erzeugt wird.
